1956 Rebel ??

I purchased this on Ebay for a song, she was listed as a 1956 homemade boat. I found her in Michigan near Toledo, Ohio where the original Rebel class boats were built. My research suggests she is a very early Rebel, before Rebel became a one design and the beam was widened to six feet. I spent a lot of time and money completely restoring her. The newest member of my crew, Roman Stone, at age 4 received the pleasure of naming her: "Doodle". Seems an appropriate name for this little jewel.
The restoration was a typical major restoration, it took longer and cost more than I ever imagined.  Here is list of the projects completed:

New topside paint
New bottom paint
New inside paint
Added a drain plug and Scupper
Restored original bronze hardware
Replaced all standing rigging
Replaced all running rigging
Built a traditional Elm wood rub rail.
Painted trailer
New bunks on trailer
